💜🐾We pride ourselves at Hearts & Paws for finding safe, loving, and permanent homes for the dogs in our care. We ensure our pets are able to go live happy and healthy lives in their new homes through our adoption process. Each of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines prior to adoption finalization. 🐾💜
Our adoption process includes 4 steps.
- Meet & Greet – Come meet the dog you are wanting to bring into the family! Send us an email or message us on Facebook to arrange a time.
- Adoption Application- We have you fill out an application to learn more about the new home our pup will go to!
- Home Visit/Home Trial Period – Once your application is approved, we arrange with you a date and time for a home visit. We bring the dog to your home to make sure all kids/pets get along well and to ensure it’s a safe environment for the pup.
**We do require a 2 week home trial period to ensure the dog is a good fit for the home prior to adoption finalization. Our ultimate goal is to make sure everybody in the home is happy and content with your new 4 legged family member. During this time, we try to stay in communication with you and be available if any issues arise.**
- Adoption Finalization – At the end of the 2 week home trial period, we reach out to finalize the adoption and collect the $150 adoption fee.
